Bakery trays wholesale from Wholesale Industry cover new Monoflo plastic trays for bread, buns and baked goods in 26 × 22, 27 × 23 and 29 × 26 in footprints, from 3 in to 6 in deep, plus a multi-level tray with two stacking heights. Each tray can be quoted with its matched bakery dolly.
A bakery tray is chosen around two numbers: the footprint that fits your racks, trucks and dollies, and the clearance your product needs when trays are stacked. Get the clearance wrong and the tray above crushes the loaves; get the footprint wrong and the trays will not ride your dollies or fit the route truck. Material and food-contact documentation are confirmed in the quote for your application.
The standard range on the Monoflo bakery trays page includes nine models:
| Footprint | Depths listed | Models | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 26 × 22 in | 3, 4, 6 in | BK 2622-03, BK 2622-04, BK 2622-06 | Buns, rolls and sliced bread at varying stack heights |
| 27 × 23 in | 3, 3.5, 4, 6 in | BK 2723-03, BK 2723-035, BK 2723-04, BK 2723-06 | The widest choice of depths in one footprint |
| 29 × 26 in | 6 in | BK 2926-06, BK 2926-06 XL | Larger loads where a bigger tray suits the route |
| 26 × 21 in | 4 in, two positions | BK 2621-04 Multi Level | Mixed products sharing one tray fleet |
One stacking height per tray. Choose the depth that clears your tallest product. Running several depths in the same footprint lets mixed loads share dollies and rack space.
The BK 2621-04 multi-level tray has a low and a high stacking position, selected by turning the tray. One tray serves short and tall products.
Each footprint has its own bakery dolly with 3 in casters, including space-saver versions for the 26 × 21 and 26 × 22 in trays.
Trays are typically used in a closed loop, so the number to order depends on routes, stops and how many trays sit at customer sites at any time. Order enough to cover the float, not just the trays on today's trucks.
To estimate how many bakery trays to buy, work route by route. Count the trays loaded on each truck at the start of the day, the trays left behind at customer stops until the next delivery, the trays on the floor at the plant being loaded or washed, and a reserve. The trays left at stores are the part buyers forget, and they are also where most losses happen, so marking trays with your company name or a color helps recover them.
Standardizing on one footprint keeps the operation simple: every tray rides every dolly and fits the same rack spacing in the truck. If you need more than one clearance, choose depths within the same footprint, for example 27 × 23 in trays at 3.5 in for buns and 6 in for bread, so mixed loads still stack on one dolly. Confirm how the different depths stack on each other before mixing them.
Plastic trays are usually washed between uses in a tray washer or by hand. Ask whether the model offered suits your washing method and water temperature, and pull cracked or warped trays from service so they do not damage product or jam stacks.
Bakery trays are new factory items with minimum order quantities; minimums vary by product and condition. Dollies are covered in more depth on the dollies category page.
Send the tray model or required clearance, quantity, matching dolly needs and delivery ZIP through the quote request form, or call 855-964-2534. Freight is quoted to your ZIP, and pricing is tiered by quantity. Availability and the minimum order quantity are confirmed with your quote.
Listed Monoflo bakery trays come in 26 × 22 in (3, 4 and 6 in deep), 27 × 23 in (3, 3.5, 4 and 6 in deep) and 29 × 26 in (6 in, standard and XL). There is also the BK 2621-04 multi-level tray in a 26 × 21 in footprint. Exact dimensions are confirmed for the model you quote.
The BK 2621-04 multi-level tray has two stacking positions. Turning the tray changes how it sits on the tray below, giving a low or high clearance, so one tray fleet can carry shorter and taller products. Verify both clearances against your products before you commit.
The material and any food-contact documentation are confirmed in your quote for the exact model. Tell us your product, whether it touches the tray directly or is bagged, and the documents your food-safety or QA program needs. Confirm suitability for your application before ordering.
If you move stacks on dollies, yes. Bakery dollies are footprint-specific: 26 × 21, 26 × 22, 27 × 23 and 29 × 26 in versions are listed, with space-saver options for some sizes. Quote the tray and dolly together so the pairing is confirmed.
These are new factory trays, so minimum order quantities apply. Minimums vary by product and condition and are confirmed in your quote. If you need a mix of depths, list each model and quantity and the quote will show how the minimums apply.
