Used and rinsed are separate catalog conditions. Rinsing alone does not establish a complete reconditioning process or current suitability for a particular material. For reconditioned totes, include the preparation and documentation you need so the offered tote can be checked.
Previous food-grade use describes history. It does not establish current food-contact suitability.
Request reconditioned totesStart with capacity, then choose condition and previous-use history. A 275 or 330 gallon label alone does not identify the bottle, pallet, valve, preparation history or suitability for your contents.
| Option | What to compare | Include in your request |
|---|---|---|
| 275 gallon | Compare the actual tote dimensions, bottle condition and base with your available space. | Quantity, space limits, destination ZIP and unloading equipment. |
| 330 gallon | Request the larger capacity separately; confirm height and handling clearance for the actual tote. | Required capacity, access limits and whether totes must match an existing fleet. |
| Used | Ask what the tote previously held and what preparation has been performed. | Acceptable prior contents, residue tolerance and inspection requirements. |
| Reconditioned | Request the preparation record and condition of the bottle, cage, pallet and valve. | Cleaning expectations, documentation and any components that must be replaced. |
| Previously food-grade history | Prior use describes history. It does not establish present food-contact or drinking-water suitability. | Intended contents and any current suitability documentation your application requires. |
| Non-food-grade history | Match previous contents and preparation to your proposed use; do not select on capacity alone. | The contents you plan to store and any restrictions on prior use. |
| Outlet and accessories | Check the actual valve outlet, cap, seal and connection before choosing a hose adapter or cover. | Connection measurements, thread information and the accessory you need. |

Wholesale IBC totes from Wholesale Industry come in 275 and 330 gallon sizes, each offered used or rinsed and sorted by food-grade or non-food-grade prior-use history. Procurement teams, resellers and facilities can quote totes on their own or alongside tanks, pallets and other containers in one order.
Caged intermediate bulk containers are chosen in three steps, and the catalog follows the same order so a request can be written precisely.
275 gallon IBC totes or 330 gallon IBC totes. Confirm the actual height and footprint against your space and racking.
Used totes are sold as returned from service. Rinsed totes have been rinsed. Reconditioning to a stated standard can be requested separately.
Food-grade history or non-food-grade history, which tells you what the tote held before, not what it is suitable for now.
A capacity label alone does not identify a tote. Two 275 gallon units can have different bottles, cages, pallet bases and valves. When totes are bought for a process, a customer or a resale program, put the requirements in writing so offered lots can be compared on the same basis.
| Item | What to decide | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 275 or 330 gallons, and whether lots can be mixed | Height, footprint and fill volume differ; mixed lots complicate stacking and racking |
| Condition | Used, rinsed or reconditioned to your stated preparation | Sets how much cleaning and inspection you do on receipt |
| Prior contents | Food-grade history, non-food-grade history, or contents you will not accept | Compatibility with what you plan to store |
| Pallet base | Any base type your forklifts, racks or customers require | Fork entry and rack support vary by base |
| Valve and cap | Outlet size, valve type and connection you need | Determines hoses, adapters and pumps downstream |
| Uniformity | Whether totes must match an existing fleet | Matching units stack and handle predictably |
Choose the least preparation your application can accept, then make the requirement explicit. Used totes suit buyers who clean and inspect in-house or who will reuse them for contents similar to their history. Rinsed totes reduce the cleanup you do on arrival, but a rinse is not a complete reconditioning process and does not establish suitability for a particular material. If you need defined cleaning, replaced valves or gaskets, or documentation, request reconditioning and describe what the offered totes must meet.
Food-grade history means the tote previously held food or ingredient products. It does not establish present food-contact or drinking-water suitability. Non-food-grade history covers industrial and other contents and should be matched to your proposed use; do not select on capacity alone. For either history, ask what the totes held and what preparation was done. If you will ship hazardous materials, confirm the markings and current periodic test and inspection status your shipments require before purchase.
Plan receiving before the truck arrives. Totes are usually unloaded with a forklift, so tell us if you will need a liftgate or will be unloading by pallet jack from a dock. On arrival, check each tote's valve, cap and cage, note any damage on the delivery paperwork and photograph it. Keep a simple log of lot, history and preparation for each tote so you can trace what it held if questions come up later.
Quantity tiers lower the per-tote price as order size grows, and full truckloads are quoted individually. Lots can be picked up by arrangement from Pennsville, NJ or Tampa, FL, or delivered by LTL freight quoted to your ZIP. Current lot photos can be requested before you order; listed photos and sizes are representative and do not confirm stock. If you also need storage tanks, pallets or bulk bins, add them to the same request. For a site dedicated to caged totes, visit our dedicated IBC tote site.
Have totes you no longer need? Send the quantity, location, sizes, previous contents, condition and whether they are empty and rinsed through the quote form for review. To finish an order, browse IBC accessories such as covers and garden hose adapters, and confirm the outlet thread and size first. Larger single vessels are under storage tanks.
Send capacity, condition, prior-use preference, quantity, intended contents, valve or connection needs, unloading access and delivery ZIP through request a quote, or call 855-964-2534. Availability and pricing are confirmed with the quote, and minimums vary by product and condition.
Used totes are sold as returned from service, with previous contents that vary by lot. Rinsed totes have been rinsed before sale. A rinse is not a complete reconditioning process and does not establish suitability for a particular material, so request reconditioning and describe your requirements if you need defined cleaning, component replacement or documentation.
Not automatically. Food-grade history describes what the tote held before. It does not establish present food-contact or drinking-water suitability. Confirm the previous contents, the preparation performed and any regulatory requirements that apply to your application before using a tote for food, beverage or drinking water.
Yes. List each capacity, condition and history as a separate line with its quantity. Keep in mind that the two sizes differ in height and footprint, so mixed lots may not stack or rack uniformly. The quote shows pricing for each line and freight for the combined shipment.
It depends on tote size, whether totes are stacked and the trailer used. Full truckloads are quoted individually, so tell us the quantity, capacity mix and destination ZIP and the quote will reflect the load. Smaller orders ship by LTL freight or can be picked up by arrangement.
Yes. Current lot photos can be requested before you order, which is useful when totes must match an existing fleet or meet a set appearance standard. Photos on the site are representative, and listed sizes do not confirm stock. Availability and the exact lot offered are confirmed with your quote.
Yes. Send the quantity, location, tote sizes, previous contents and condition through the quote form, and say whether the totes are empty and whether any rinsing or reconditioning has been done. The details are reviewed and an offer is discussed with you.
